Easy Motichoor Laddu
Motichoor Laddu is known for offering it to gods for all the festivals like Holi, Diwali, Krishnastami, Ramadan, and other major festivals. Especially for Ganesh Chaturthi and Diwali. Tons and Tons of laddu will be prepared for these two festivals and sold. Motichoor Laddu is also called as Bhoondi Laddu and this dish hails from Rajasthan and favorite of Marwadi community.
Preparation of Motichoor laddu is very time taking but we have come up with a different style of making it Easy.
We have not used Jhara to make the boondi of dal. Instead we have deep fried and made crystal like powder and mixed it with sugar syrup. That’s what makes the recipe “Easy Motichoor Laddu”

2. Coarsely grind the chana dal

3. Make lumps of grounded chana dal and deep fry

5. Make sugar syrup with 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water
6. Add a pinch of cardamom powder, red and orange food color

7. Add the crystal-like dal powder to the colored syrup

8. Mix well by adding Ghee and Cashew nuts
